General Kantardzhievo is a village in the north-east part of Bulgaria, named on General Todor Kantardzhiev. Until 1942 the name of the village was Chaush kioy. It is situated in municipality of Aksakovo, region Varna, 386 km from Sofia, 24 km north-east of Varna, just 25 km from International Airport of Varna. Trough the territory of the municipality goes the highway Hemus, which connects Varna with the capital city Sofia. The well build transport infrastructure of municipality of Aksakovo keeps good transport connection with the biggest seaside resorts of northern Black sea – Golden Sands (10 km), Albena (6 km), Kranevo (7 km) and Balchik (15 km).
Around General Kantardzhievo are many vine massifs, producing good vine. The view from the village to the resorts is fantastic. Many tourists are involved in rural tourism visit the village. The locality Batova – a landscape massif, offers incredible nature views and has few huts for relaxation. Every year in the locality are organized fairs attracting people all over the region. The natural park Pobiti kamani – protected area with stone columns of 10 m height, hollow and solid cylinders, frustum of a cones, different form and size of stone blocks and many stone peaces are all over the park. The villages Dolishte, Oreshak, Kumanovo and General Kantardzhievo are developing shooting tourism.
